GELU seat post 31.6 mm | UD matt
Gelu Carbon Creation was brought to life in 2013 by Anghel Ivanof. Anghel has more than 20 years of experience in processing composite materials. It all started in the early 1990s with the manufacture and repair of carbon components for e.g. B. speedboats, canoes and surfboards.
After an excursion into aviation technology, which began in 1999, it was time in 2005 to apply the knowledge gained to the production of high-quality bicycle parts. The first prototype of a carbon saddle saw the light of day in 2006.
Thanks to the close collaboration with an orthopaedist, an engineer and some of the best Portuguese athletes, a product has been developed step by step that also meets the needs of the best athletes.
So that you can properly mount your new saddle from Gelu on your bike, the Portuguese offer a suitable seat post. The multi-part construction consists of a UD carbon tube into which a clamping head made of aluminum is glued. Both the rocker and the upper clamping plate are made of carbon and are connected to each other with titanium screws and aluminum barrel nuts. The well thought-out clamp on the head, which gently clamps any type of rail, can be infinitely adjusted in angle.
