The founders of the still young BERG brand started with a simple mission: They wanted to develop the best possible lightweight products for ambitious MTB marathon and cross-country riders at an affordable price. In order to be prepared for tough racing use, no compromises were made in terms of durability when developing the BERG components. Behind the brand is a small team of committed mountain bikers, engineers and bike mechanics from Belgium.

With 0 degrees of upsweep and no rise, the BERG handlebar is an uncompromising race flat bar that is ideal for a deep cockpit. With a width of 760 millimeters, it only weighs 105 to 110 grams, making it one of the lightest handlebars on the market. The wide, oversized area in the middle of the handlebars ensures high rigidity on the trails. A sandwich construction made of 3K carbon on the inside and UD carbon top layers ensure an optimal balance between shock absorbing properties and rigidity. For smaller riders, the handlebars can be shortened to a width of 620 millimeters (shortening lines up to 720 mm available), which reduces the weight to 84 grams.
In order to guarantee the safety of your components, all BERG components have undergone extensive tests according to the ISO standard in Germany in addition to intensive test drives. In order to guarantee the high quality standards in the long term, the tests are repeated on different product batches.
In addition to the 2-year guarantee, BERG offers a 3-year crash replacement with a 40% discount on all components. For a smaller ecological footprint, all BERG components are delivered in 100% recyclable packaging. Technical specifications:
