The rigidity on the hub body serves to distribute the load more evenly on the spokes. Drive and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all spokes. One-sided load peaks are prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim.

DT Swiss hubs stand for the simplest construction and highest reliability. The latter is achieved with the 180 hubs with smooth-running, durable hybrid ceramic bearings. Thanks to the use of complex seals and bearing sizes adapted to the loads, the hubs can do without adjusting the bearing play.
