This seat post is an evolution of the first New Ultimate carbon seat post. Above all, the structure of the carbon tube was optimized. The carbon fabric was replaced by UD carbon layers. These provide a higher strength, because the fibers can run perfectly straight and not slightly bent as in the tissue over and over again. In addition, the central area of the support was butted while the clamping area and the head of the support increased.
