Duke’s aluminum rim Crazy Star comes with modern geometry and a wide, asymmetrical profile. The rim, which is kept quite flat with a profile height of 17.5 mm, has an outside width of 29.9 mm and an internal width of 26.5 mm. The rim is made with 2.2mm offset for the spoke holes. This allows for more even spoke tension and greater stiffness, which contributes to better durability of the entire wheel. The rim was developed in collaboration with Julien Absalon and has a special profile at the front and rear. As a result, it is optimally adapted to the different loads. The Crazy Star aluminum rims are particularly suitable for the dedicated all-mountain rider.
