The ENVE SES 4.5 AR Front Wheel Disc Rim has been developed uncompromisingly for best aerodynamic performance and wide, comfortable tires. Due to the ever-increasing number of road bike frames with disc brakes and greater tire clearance, ENVE was able to meet its own high demands with this rim.
The ability to use the rim tubeless not only improves traction and rolling resistance, it also reduces the risk of breakdown. Ideal for cyclists who want high speeds, comfort and traction even off the paved roads.

ENVE carbon rims are engineered by ENVE in the US and manufactured to the highest quality standards at the Utah headquarters. Engineers at ENVE have years of experience using carbon in the field of cycling and know what needs to be met by a top product like these carbon rims. At ENVE, everything is focused on harnessing the benefits of carbon and eliminating its disadvantages. So stiff and extremely light rim were developed in which all fibers can run without interruption which corresponds to the best possible utilization of the material thicknesses. This principle was perfected in the spoke holes by continuous fiber strands form the mount for the spoke nipples. Aluinserts, as they are common with other carbon rims, can therefore be dispensed with during production. This reduces the weight and at the same time allows much higher spoke tensions which in turn allow the construction of stiffer wheels!
